| 23. | glitter bitch | ||
|
candy ravers who are new to the scene. Characterized by all the stereotypical raver equipment, such as (but not limited to) glowsticks, flashers, pacifiers, suckers, Vicks,and so on.
Often will decorate their eyelids and faces with glitter and other sparkly shit. If that glitter bitch asks me "Do you want a light show???" just ONE MORE TIME, I'm gonna have a totally anti-PLUR moment!

ok i see alot of the norm here and Goth Ravers.. well the correct term for them is Gravers.... but anyway one thats missing that dissapointes me because i am one is
Cyber Kids - Generally considerd a hacker ect but in the rave scene they are a mix of a Candy Kid and a Graver they will wear the baggy pants with straps ect and a tight or loose fitting shirt and all that good stuff, unlike most Gravers they do not think themselves to good to dance but rather they indulge in it, they generally wont wear much candy but they will wear some, not as brightly colors or generally silver bead bracelets, some will have a stuffed toy or not but most do the candy kid thing of giving hugs/candy/toys all that to people for no aparent reason, there all around really cool people to chill with and are open, they dont secule themselves like a graver but are more open... there basicly what i said.. a Mix of the 2 candy kid+graver = Cyber Kid! look at that graver he has candy on him!
duh it's because hes a cyber kid! |

A popular nightlife information portal/messageboard based out of New York City that boasts a robust calendar of events in just about every subgenre of EDM with a leaning towards House, in-depth articles about happenings in the scene and a bustling forum community. Formed by power structure from the now dead Naughtybooth community, many board elders are ex-Twiloheads and can be considered elite party people (from a scene perspective as well as the perspective of their own egos). There are also complements of angry technoheads, breakers and, if the moon is in phase, a guido or two rounding things out.

Upon frequenting the forums one will find all sorts of characters. From venue owners and international DJ's to audiophiles to run-of-the-mill party people, all but candy ravers are represented. Discussion on the main board is pretty shoot from the hip, with chatter that often drifts completely away from nightlife to just about any subject imaginable. 'Auralism', is a great repository of EDM musical knowledge and 'Mechanism' fufills the needs of the audiophile/engineer/producer/gadgetmonkey set. 'Journalism' is a great place to read articles on all sorts of subject matter within the scene as well as "official" reviews by the talented writing staff. 'Globalism' is devoted to tracking events in many national and international clubbing destinati... |

An insulting slang term meant towards homosexual candy-ravers, usually seen in or associating with a Jag. I mean, I've known some pretty gay people in my life, but that was so homo it was nothing less than Jakenit.

| 27. | Yaba | ||
|
Yaba is a derivative of synthetic amphetamines such as speed and can be manufactured far more quickly and easily than traditional forms of amphetamine. Yaba is a recent phenomenon in the United States, although it has been popular in Southeast and East Asia for some time. Methamphetamine tablets are sent primarily by mail to northern California and the Los Angeles area, and although the demand for Yaba appears to be primarily in Asian communities, popularity is increasing among rave attendees.
Slang Terms: “crazy medicine,” Hitler's drug, Ice It can be orally consumed and are sometimes candy flavored (grape, orange, and vanilla). “Chasing the Dragon” is another method of use. Users place tablet on aluminum foil and heat from underneath, as the tablet melts vapors rise and are inhaled. Yaba can also be snorted and injected. Ravers be careful because dealers target MDMA (Ecstasy) users to try it claiming its like Ecstasy, but really you're going to be tweaking on that mean speed.
