Cakeism - The doctrine of having one's cake and eating it too, as regards the UK government and its Brexit negotiations. The action of exaggerating the UK's potential, to make it seem that greater things are possible than reality offers. Cakeism is used by 'Cakeists' to win people over with baseless offerings such as the red bus used in the UK referendum, with the aim to leave Europe. It is often related to feelings of loss of the British empire. It can also be associated with political opportunism.
You may believe that the UK can once more achieve an Empire, but times have changed, and we are an integrated part of European now. We need to maintain closeness with our neighbours to ensure peace, and that is why the European Union was created. Your aspirations of grandeur and supremacy are pure Cakeism, and you, my friend, are a cakeist
In Lemony Snicket's "A Series of Unfortunate Events", the wealthy young villain Carmelita Spats insults the Baudelaire orphans by calling them cakesniffers. Presumably the insult is an antonym of "cake eaters", an insult reserved for rich, spoiled children (suggesting that they have their cake and eat it too). In calling the Baudelaires cakesniffers, the rich, spoiled Carmelita suggests that the (temporarily) destitute Baudelaires think longingly of her superior social position and wealth.
The act of several people excreting in a enemy or rival's toilet. The (multiple) excretions are continuous and are,at no point until completely finished, to be flushed. Instead, 'layers' are only separated by toilet paper. The end result - which, incidentally, can be expanded by 'icing' or 'finishing touches'- should resemble a (multi)layer cake.
Benny: Hey?!! WTF someone flushed away the layer cake.
Connor: Dont worry. Lets layercake bührers bathroom tommorow again when he is not at home, so the smell can spread.
