Business tropical is relatively open ended, but allows for shorts, interesting patterns, unusual ties, and the like. A certain amount of coordination is expected. Tennis shoes are acceptable, but should be specialty shoes or match the outfit. Specialty tennis shoes are acceptable. Hats are acceptable and even encouraged. This style of dress is especially appropriate for tropical-like climates. Distinct from business jungle because it is more formal, and tropical print shirts are seen as passe and out of touch.
