A lame excuse for a definition used on Urban Dictionary for people who talk about how they need to take a shit, or how their friends leave them while online while saying they'll be back. Here's alittle tip, fuckers, people who don't already know what the acronym stands for should be burned at the stake. It's the easiest one ever. Also, if your friends get offline by seeing they'll be back, then they are not your friends, they are just retards, and most likely, at school, if they do go to school with you and you didn't meet you in a chat room and are most likely pedifiles, then they are going to say something like "I got caught up in something else," which is just underbreath speak for, "I don't like you, don't you get it you retarded monkey? I mean, you never gave me Respect Knuckles once." (I love shameless plugs). Oh, to all you other morons, nobody wants to hear about how you have to take a shit.
"And lo, the Great Omega Master hath ingested that of a bean burito and is as noisy as ever. Thus, the great foe the beans have made, for they have forsaken me with the urge to feel what is coming out of thine anus. Alas, I must BRB to once again take on my greatest nemesis, the Crapier. This will take an obscenely long time." *Signs Offline*-The Omega Master

Acronym for "be right back." Usually used as an easy way to dip out of lame places or conversations. It has been confirmed that this phrase has been used by popular figures such as Bob Marley, Jesus, and Amelia Earhart.
Amelia Earhart:
*Hops in plane*
"Brb!!"
*Flies into waiting horizon, never to be seen again"

'Net chat slang, or "netiquette" for "be right back." The term does not, however, actually mean, "be right back." It is a segue euphemism for "get lost," "f*ck off," "I'm not interested in you," "never in a million years, you troll," etc. Used mainly in dating or sexually oriented chat.
Sure, I would love to meet up sometime. brb

Be Right Back.

You are online and someone sends you a IM but you dont want to talk. You say BRB, never reply again, eventually logout.
Person 1: yo lets play ball

Person 2: nahh

Person 1:WHY NOT

Person 2:...

Person 2: BRB

Person 1: ok

---30 minutes later---

Person 1: you playing or what?

---1 hour later---

Person 1: fuck this

Person 1 is offline.

Something a girl says when she will aparently "be right back" (like 5-10 min), but really means she's ditching her friends for her boyfriend (1 hour-Forever!). At first you might believe... But after a while you will learn that "BRB" means she's not coming back.
If your good friend starts saying this beware... Your friend time with her is limited!
Girl: "Brb" guys!

Friends: "Okay see you tomorrow"

Girl: "No really, I'm coming back!" (leaves)

Friends: "Let's bet on it... 20 says she's not"

2 Hours later...

Friend: "Pay up!"

This term is commonly misunderstood as "Be Right Back" where one individual in an online conversation has to leave for a certain amount of time during a good conversation.

This is actually wrong though, it has a very firm meaning of "Bringing Ryne Beer" and often times is heard daily.
Person #1: "So whats up?"
Person #2: "Hold on, BRB"
Person #1: "Isn't that his 4th beer today?"
Person #2: "Yes - hold on, you know he gets cranky if I don't bring it right away"

An expression used in IM (MSN, Facebook...etc) conversations. Though technically meaning "be right back", it is more commonly used as an excuse to leave a conversation with a person you don't want to talk to anymore.
Derek: Hi what's up?
Aliesha: Nothing much really...kinda bored...and I'll BRB...

Hours later:

Derek: I thought you said you would BRB...you lied!
Aliesha: No...i didn't lie
Derek: Then why did you comment on Facebook 30 mins ago??? You were still at the computer...you didn't want to talk to me...i see how it is
