(Noun)
A female human body in line with the tastes of the Romans in Classical Antiquity, i.e. healthy-looking with wide hips, a straight waist, and small breasts. Whereas the modern beauty ideal tends to emphasize large breasts, a slim waist, and round buttocks, combined with an unprecendented skinniness.
- "I really wish I had an hourglass figure."
- "Do you? I think you look great with your Roman bodyshape."
- "You do?"
- "Absolutely. I wish I had a figure like yours, with those magnificent hips."
(Noun)
A female human body in line with the ideals of Medieval Europe, i.e. a petite and slender figure, small and round breasts high on the chest, and a protruding, round belly.
Beauty ideals change over time and depending on the location and context. In Western Europe during the Middle Ages, the nobility set a particular beauty ideal for women: a fragile and petite figure, with small and round breasts high on the chest, and a protruding round belly. The Medieval body shape eventually gave way to new Renaissance ideals.
A body type typically meaning that your bust (boobies) are smaller than your hips, thighs, and bottom. One of the more common body types and most attractive.
Damn look at Sarawalk! Shaking that pear shaped body! What i would do to hit it!
When you go to hug someone and maybe they go to kiss you or shake your hand instead, you have a moment of sort of.. greeting/affection limbo, so one will choose to form a compromise of sorts and the bodyshaking begins.
It's basically where you sort of bear hug each other and then sort of.. bounce the other a bit, literally shaking them. It's this sort of slightly macho way of hugging.
Mary-Beth went to kiss me, but I just wanted a hug, so we ended up with this bizarre Bodyshake moment, I'm so gonna have to avoid her for a couple days.
