A major street in the Boston area, comes in from Blue Hill Parkway in Milton and goes all the way through Mattapan into Dorchester. Starts at the bridge in Mattapan near McDonalds and ends a couple miles up from there.
Mostly Haitian with a lot of good restaurants, is generally a feared street by suburbanites in the Boston area.

I'm a tad shocked at some of the comments about Short Hills. I'll grant you that it's an affluent town but, that in and of itself isn't a crime. Like any other town there are pros and cons. Yes, it has it's share of spoiled brats. It also has a ot of great people.

As for the schools being so great..i'm not so sure. i went to millburn high and grew up in SH. the principal of millburn high got in trouble for having sex with a student, gym teacher arrested for getting head from a young boy, psych teacher arrested for dealing coke to students. it's the parents to whom education is important that give millburn high it's success rate..not the school. the same parents, kids and famlies that many of you have bashed on these pages. give credit where credit is due.

bust your ass to be successful and someday you too may be able to trade in your blue collar problems for the equal but different problems enjoyed by the residents of Short Hills.

Located in the middle of no where, Warren Hills High School is surrounded by schools that outperform them in all aspects of life. From academics, to athletics, Warren Hills is secondary is just about everything. On any given day, one can walk down the halls of the school and hear english, spanish, russian, and arabic spoken. The preppy kids dress primarily in Aeropostale and American Eagle, and just about everyone else is "trying to find themselves." Stuck securely in the middle to lower class, students at "Hills" have little motivation and drive in the classroom, which causes poor academic ratings for the school on a whole. In the athletic arena, Warren Hills athletes often pussy out in the biggest of moments and have no idea how to win.

Unfortunately, the towns that surround the school provide absolutely zero entertainment. Because of this, all the preppy kids drive to neighboring towns on the weekends for fun, while everyone else hangs around the schools landmark: Quick Check. Located less than a mile from the school, Quick Check represents the place where all the future townies hangout.

Once in a while, kids that attend Warren Hills do well. There are some very good students, and good athletes who go on to prestigious universities, or to the NCAA. These students, and their friends generally have fond memories of their time at Hills, even though they will admit it is a fairly dull place to grow-up. Everyone else, is too naive to realize the dump that they come from.

The poorest part of Milton MA, stretching from Mattapan to the West Side Tedeschi's, to Hudson Street, to the Neponset River. Althought it is not as celebrated as much as the East Side of Milton, West Milton is clearly the superior part of Milton. It is both feared and respected by the rest of Milton, as shown from the Facebook group "Milton, MA." "Whenever you drive down Blue Hills Parkway, your mother makes you lock your door and roll up your window once you enter the city. " West Milton plays home to a very diverse mix of people unlike the E which only has white-Irish-Catholics. A true West Milton-er recognizes it's dominance over the East Side, but remains modest and does not become obnoxious. He also knows the "East-Side Gangsters" are privledged pricks who are wannabe ghetto. From the traffic signs turned upside down, to the graffiti and trash in the temple parking lot, West Milton is the proud home of many, including Mugabe. West Milton is also known for it's epic pick-up games of various sports including football, wiffleball, and hockey. West Milton is a quiet, yet proud brotherhood which has, and will remian tough and danerous.

Thought of as the OC of the midwest - which is somewhat true
While theres plenty of money floating around here its not quite as rich as its made out to be though.
Mission Hills, Berry Hills, and parts of Leawood are the main rich areas.
big fancy cookie cutter houses are common in the northern parts but the larger, more unique mansions can be found spread out around Stilwell (where i live) (10-15 minutes from Mission Hills, 5-10 minutes from Berry Hills)
To see the those examples ask anyone from stilwell to show the Miller's house (big brick house on Metcalf Avenue (cant miss it))and the nearby neighborhood or ask them to take you down Mission Road (long curvy road that branches off into a ton of long dark gated drives in Mission Hills (often a big hangout for santanists - its not a huge problem anymore, but its still a problem))

Most kids in Johnson County are in the Blue Valley school district and most of the Mission Hills/Berry Hills, and Leawood teens go to Blue Valley High School (where i go)
which is a pretty good representation of JC's social status-

15-20 Coach bags in every hallway
plenty of brand new mustangs/ f-150's/ scions/ect in the parking lot
(along with one black Hummer H2 with 26" wheels)
and plenty of Audi's/ BMW's/ Acura's/ Denali's/ Escalade's/ Naviagtor's in the Drop-off/Pick-up lane
