Benzophenyl bromide is diphenylmethyl bromide. It is used as an intermediate to the synthesis of Modafinil, Adrafinil, and N-Methyl-Modafinil.

Bromide Belly is when you take a drug that is in Hydrobromide salt form and get nauseous and sometimes a stomach ache. It usually happens in those sensitive to Hydrogen Bromide.

This property has allowed silver halides to become the basis of modern photographic materials. Silver Bromide is widely used in photographic films and is believed by some to have been used for making the Shroud of Turin. The salt can be found naturally as the mineral bromargyrite. It's chemical formula is AgBr and has a solid pale yellow appearance.
