To feel blank. Usually this is a feeling which is so small and mediocre that you will be pleasantly surprised. For example, a person who has split with their boyfriend and is dreading seeing him again is happy to feel blank. Neither love or hate for the individual.
"I saw Troy today."
"Really? How did that make you feel?"
"Oh! That's great, I'm so pleased for you!"
When you see a person you know on the street, and they see/recognize you, but pretend they didn't and look away in order to avoid talking to you. Usually results in an unnatural looking facial expression.
Laura: Dude, I saw Russel today, but he totally blanked me.
Meag: Really? I thought you guys were friends?
Laura: Yeah, me too. I guess he just didn't want to talk to me.
