look up anything, like your first name:
1. Edward Bernays
The best kept secret of the US government. In 1928, he wrote a book entitled "Propaganda", which explains almost every bullshit technique ever known. As the nephew of Sigmund Freud, Bernays is the utmost expert of populace manipulation. His techniques most likely control every perception that you maintain, and you are not even aware of it. Bernaysian persuasion owns your soul!
Person 1: "Have you ever read Edward Bernays' book 'Propaganda'?"

Person 2: “No. Why?”

Person 1: "That book is the most important piece of literature ever created!"
2. Slagging
The addition of superfluous material (SLAG) to a “news story”, the addition of which is designed to prejudice the recipient’s response to “news”, thus guaranteeing that the recipient will “comprehend” and “understand” the story correctly—in the manipulative lights of those responsible for said slagging. NPR and Clearchannel are equally guilty but from opposite ends of the political spectrum since both “clue” the listener about the “correct” response to the story moreso than giving out raw data for the listener to evaluate.

I.E. the application of Bernays-esque “spin doctoring” to influence public perception while pretending to the objectivity of reporting. Political Correctness and Neo-Con Righteousness are equally guilty of the abuse. So named from “SLAG”, the impurities burned and refined out of raw material in metal working.
Neocon slagging: The Palestinian "terrorists" objected to Israel's bombing of food supplies in Gaza.

PC slagging: The election of a "black" president is a mile stone in race relation.
3. Susan Boyle
Voice heard 'round the world.
-----

SHANNON: Why do you think 100 million people on YouTube/internet viewed Susan Boyle’s audition on Britain's Got Talent?
SEAN: Comments from the judges like, “Reeling from shock... Biggest wake-up call ever... A complete privilege... Extraordinary,” demand a bigger, more precise and important question: ‘Why were most of us immediately brought to tears by her performance? - And not tears of sadness or joy, but of relief and amazement’. At the same time scrutiny of the very dark hour our world faces stays mostly quiet - Palestinian babies exploding daily, Pakistan villages smart bombed, Dyncorp and Halliburton sex slave trade scandals, Iraqi torture camps, skyrocketing unemployment, home invasion and seizures by the banksters, food shortages, vaccine induced autism - we are compelled, trained to rush cynically with judgment and insults at the sight of a middle-aged single women with short disorderly hair, frizzy eyebrows and bulky awkward proportions. As certainly as spilled wine will attract pests is as undoubtedly as this dumply shy lady of an inconsequential village would attract rolling eyes and cruel, teasing laughter from the awaiting audience. But Susan stood down the crowd’s predetermined ridicule with a ‘cheeky grin’. She knew better. She had a gift to share. Her secure, ardent, 'smashing' voice hits the microphone and tears stream our faces because we are both reli...

4. Salesmanipulationship
A more accurate term to describe the art of "Salesmanship".

As selling people things in our consumer culture is about wants, not needs; appealing to ego and irrational desires, not demonstrating the long-term value of owning the product.
Salesmanipulationship is about deceit, coercion, and putting someone into a pressure-cooker so they are unable to think critically on what they are about to do.
A woman went into the shop to buy a $50 black dress, she came out not only with the dress but with nearly $60 in accessories for it, thanks to the clerk's Salesmanipulationship.
5. fluoride
1) A highly toxic carcinogen ingredient in toothpaste, with scientific evidence of near zero improvement in tooth health, and a much higher risk of dental fluorosis, as well as not at all proven to be noticeably more or less effective than non-fluoridated toothpaste.

2) Industrial waste sold to primarily American (and some UK) local governments and added to their public water supplies, and often forced upon by their Federal government, which is a highly toxic carcinogen through extended use known to put holes in brains, shut down vital organs, significantly contribute to bone loss, significantly lower life expectancy, significantly lower IQ in fluoridated populations contrary to non-fluoridated populations, and make it's citizens less aggressive (more docile).

3) A primary ingredient in most anti-depressants.
Fluoride toothpaste and fluoridation of water supplies was pushed heavily by author of highly successful 1920's books Propaganda and Spin, Edward Bernays, in his support of the Fluoridationists of the Public Health Service.

It is illegal to be added to public water supplies in most of the world (i.e. Germany where it is considered "medication without consent."), and the Japanese government once considered its use to combat a growing suicide rate but received a great deal of resistance from it's citizens.

If you swallow your toothpaste, call the CDC!

(don't think rinsing it out you will completely avoid absorbing it)

If you drink a glass of water, you've ingested as much fluoride as a standard application of toothpaste, call the CDC!

If you take anti-depressants, call the CDC!

If you think are living too long past their usefulness, support fluoridation at your local governments!

If you have any concerns, internet search the word "fluoride"
