Auto Correction Syndrome (Illness) 

Auto Correction Syndrome is when you can't help but correct a person in public or private when they mispronounce a word, name or place etc

Thus causing them embarrassment and annoyance

If you can listen to someone speaking when they mispronounce a word and refrain from correcting them you do not suffer from this Illness.

Them: At the royal wedding didn't Kate wear a nice Ti-era
You: You mean Tiara

Auto Correctile Dysfunction 

When you're trying to chat up a girl via tinder and Apple's auto correct changes a word that kills your chancesat getting laid. DOn't feel bad. It happens to everyone at some point.

Brett: Did you manage to hook up with that girl on tinder yet?
Randy: I tried to text "Let's get drunk" But Apple changed it to "Let's vote Trump." She ghosted me.

premature autocorrection 

When you type a word, autocorrection changes the word and then you post it before proofreading it, changing the entire meaning of what you were trying to say.

When I text my girlfriend, I have premature autocorrection so I end up having to apologize for what I said.

autocorrectonese 

When you can correctly translate an auto corrected text message into what the person ment to say with out asking for help.

A " The buyer is open till ."
B "The buffet is open until ten."
When you get message A, and somehow know it was supposed to be message B, you speak fluent autocorrectonese

Autocorrecting 

When you are talking or telling a story and someone in your group keeps interrupting you and correcting grammar mistakes or details about your story.

For instance, if you were telling a story about a gray car and the person says, “actually it was silver” and you continue with your story and mention that it was on Wednesday and that person says, “actually it was on a Thursday” and you continue and say that it occurred in the evening and they interrupt and say “actually it was in the late afternoon.”

Then you tell them to stop autocorrecting you.

Sophia if you don’t stop autocorrecting me I’m gonna knock you out.

Liv, you would have a lot more friends if you didn’t autocorrect people all the time.

Autocorrecting 

When a friend or someone in your group keeps correcting everything you say.

When you are talking or telling a story and a person in your group keeps interrupting you and correcting everything that you say.

I’m tired of Sophia constantly autocorrecting me every time I make a grammar mistake.

If Liv autocorrects me one more time about some stupid detail when I’m telling a story I’m going to knock her silly.

Autocorrectian slip 

When what your phone autocorrects your text to something that also works or is what you really would like to say.

Example: Tried to text
“I meant your sister”
What your phone sent
“I messy your sister”

My Autocorrectian slip revealed his sister and I had been hooking up.
