Explosions in the Sky is a four-man post-rock band out of Austin, Texas. They've released two full length albums which I highly recommend. Only 300 CD's were made for their first CD but they do plan on rereleasing it in the not too distant future.
As of now they're working on a Travels in Costants EP. "Have you ever heard of Explosions in the Sky?"
"No... Are they on the radio?" "No they're not on the radio, they're better than that." "Better than that? What are you talking 'bout?" "As in, the radio sucks balls." "What are you talking about? They play popular stuff that OBVIOUSLY doesn't suck balls!" "OBVIOUSLY you've watched too much MTV and fallen into the trap that is pop culture. You, my friend, have an obscured musical taste. Let me give you some CD's to listen to - This is the good stuff." |

Expresses refusal to support, condone, or participate in a certain activity or idea due to subject's lameness, stupidity, or conflict with personal beliefs. William Shatner: What about those men who say 'do as I do and believe in what I say for your own good, or I'll kill you'? I can't get behind that!

|
A word said when a person is presenting themselves as pretentious and/or arrogant in public discussion, such as in a literature class. To fully take advantage of its connotation, one should flip his or her hand on the bottom of the chin several times. "The similarities between Holden Caulfied and Huckleberry Finn are astounding, both boys searching for the passion in a world that shuns them. And I am quite qualified to comment on the subject, for I studied with the great Dr. Watts, at Princeton no less."
"Auntrenu."(with a chin flip for emphasis) |

| 63. | nigga | ||
|
reffering to black people, derives from the term nigger, which was used by slave massa's in the 40's and 50's and early 60's, otherwise known as the, "whippin days"
In the song, "Whip It" by Devo, there is a big hint into the, "Whipping Days" as in where white people would whip the Africans until they picked more cotton, and more watermelon, and ate more KFC. "NIGGA!!!!!"
"Hello nigga." "'ey yo nigga, me 'n Jaspa' gon' go and pick up some crazy African hoes" "Whaddup Nigga" Nigga: "Tonight at 8:30, 'gonna grab some shovels and bash white folk in da head." Nigga 2: "What time?" Nigga: "8:30" Nigga 2: "Do What?" Nigga: "Gon' kill white folk!" |
