| 190. | Kyon | ||
|
Narrator of and main character in the multi-media universe of Haruhi Suzumiya. He peppers each episode, volume, etc. with sarcasm and a distinct propulsion to disagree with Haruhi's hair-brained schemes. Despite hating the SOS Brigade at first, he has, over the course of the series, come to enjoy the company of the other members (Haruhi, Yuki, Mikuru, and Itsuki). But, in short, Kyon is hardcore awesome and Haruhi's perfect foil. "{Kyon} Help me!!" - Mikuru
"Kyon, go pick up the heater!" - Haruhi "*nods* {Kyon}" - Yuki "Kyon, it's our responsibility to appease Ms. Suzumiya, else she will create closed space subconsciously...I'm counting on you!" - Itsuki |

Silence, awesome member of the SOS Brigade, headed by Haruhi Suzumiya. She is extremely quiet and a bibliophile at first glance; but, in reality, she is an alien sent to monitor Haruhi Suzumiya. Her primary duty is to prevent Haruhi from destroying the world subconsciously. Thus, Yuki uses her alien pseudo-magic to appease Haruhi's every whim, often to the vexation of Kyon, the narrator. Yuki Nagato almost died protecting Kyon

|
A multicultural, completely made up holiday celebration to appease politically correct nazis who demand we water down everything to fit into a generic mold of mediocrity, sucking the meaning out of everything and neutering our individuality. "Merry Christmas!" shouted Abe
"Happy Chanukah! replied Salvatore "No, No...Happy Christmachanukwanzicus!" insisted Libby the Liberal "Oh shut the fuck up !" retorted Abe and Sal. |

To commit to do something with someone, only to appease them and not actually do. Person A: We are going to celebrate a friends' birthday tomorrow night. Join us (insert location/time).
Person B: Sounds goods, I look forward to it. See you tomorrow night. Tomorrow night comes, Person B is not there. You, believing they would be there due to previous conversation, have been officially Paddywhacked. |

When you have to fabricate paperwork in order to make something qualify or meet a standard. The manufactured housing industry suffered demise due to dealerships fabrication financial documentation to appease lenders. Is this divorce decree on the up and up or is it trailer?

| 196. | Ego | ||
|
In Psychology, it is the balancing diplomat which regulates the instinctual desires of the Id and the narcissistic satisfaction of the superego. Kind of like what America's president does to appease democrats and republicans. Jacques' Id had desired to rape the petite Christian girl and dump her, his ego wanted to marry her, have kids with her and then divorce her, and lastly, his superego wanted to marry her, have kids with her, and make her his cooking sex slave.
^Revolting, perhaps, but also inherent, and somewhat eternal. Refer to Beyonce's song, "Ego". |
