When you have a co-worker who is a jab jab jab jab jab jab jabber jaw, and you can't get off of the phone with him, or get a word in edge-wise; the act of putting them on hold under the guise of receiving another phone call, and waiting for them to hang up.

I just got a call from motor-mouth again, he was going on and on about something, so i had to abrandon him.
