To meander aimlessly with a wobbling gait about the vicinity of a superior, while non-verbally gesturing a question with generally no relevance. The act is completed by brushing the superior away with the hands as if to say “never mind”, realizing that his/her reason for approaching the superior was utterly pointless to begin with.
