Dimorphic Fungi exist in potentially two forms. They can be remembered as “Yeast in the beast, mold in the cold." Yeast in the beast (warm temperature, in the host), Mold in the cold (cold temperature, in the soil). I can't remember if molds grow in the soil or in people.
Its easy, "Mold in the Cold, Yeast in the Beast". Oh yeah! |
