A small university located in Waterloo, Ontario (sometimes referred to as simply "Laurier"). WLU is known primarily for its business, life science and music programs. Wilfrid Laurier University is also know for having one of the stronger football programs in Southern Ontario and generally only loses when the University of Western Ontario gets lucky. Finally there is the legendary rivalry between WLU and the University of Waterloo, which exists primarily because UW students can't stand to think of other people having fun while they are at school and graduating as well-rounded people, instead of engineering automatons.
