It is quite possible that the words veritas and aequitas come from the Latin version of Isaiah 59:14 "et conversum est retrorsum iudicium et iustitia longe stetit quia corruit in platea veritas et aequitas non potuit ingredi" -- which translates to the King James version as "And judgment is turned away backward, and justice standeth afar off: for truth is fallen in the street, and equity cannot enter." Veritas Aequitas
Truth and equity equity meaning justice |

Its base form is the ancient Greek language and stands for "Truth Justice"
To some this is a very powerful combination of words, that have a deep meaning and power of their own. To others, it is a catch phrase used in the movie Boondock Saints, kindof like a motto. I believe it is a basis for what most humans should live their life by, day and day. Truth and Justice would basically end all crime. Will that day ever come? 1. Hey, I completely believe in Veritas Aequitas.
2. Wasn't that cool when the guys had Veritas and Aequitas on their hands? |
