People who don't always necessarily publish a really funny or really true definition just because...... well because they suck, I guess. I have written some of the funniest words & definitions I can think of & these damn Urban Dictionary Editors keep sending me e-mails saying that they are rejected. DAMNIT!

The one thing that stands between the masses and the ramblings of pre-pubescent, ghetto-homeboys. This title is easily obtained, but is a public service that the community should use more often, which would keep at least some idiocies off the internet.
Fortunately, most editors have common sense and abide by the rules, although one can be sure that not all do. Urban Dictionary Editor is a really important job... They need to keep the junk out!

Years ago, Urban Dictionary editors would publish any definition shortly after they got it, no matter how stupid, pointless, obscene or bigoted it was. Now it can take months, and they reject anything they don't like or disagree with, even if it is good. AWarnerS had his perfectly acceptable definitions rejected numerous times by Urban Dictionary editors.
It is hard to believe a definition bashing transgender people was accepted years ago, and one supporting them was rejected recently by UD editors. |
