look up any word:
1. Papa Pilgrim
Perhaps the most famous Alaskan next to Sarah Palin. Lived on an isolated ranch in the Wrangell-St. Elias Nat'l Park (nicknamed "Hillbilly Heaven"), where he rose to fame through the widely publicized rape of his own daughters.

In addition, he is known to have been sexually involved with University of Alaska President Mark Hamilton and with his lesser-known protege and sidekick Papa Petersen of Wasilla, Alaska.
Papa Pilgrim died in prison in 2008 from complications due to syphilis and hepatitis C, likely contracted during his long-term sexual liaison with UA President Mark Hamilton.
2. Arkanchoke
Typical action taken by the University of Arkansas Razorbacks athletic teams by losing badly or finding a way to throw a way a win. Almost always on a national stage and ESPN usually dwells on said choke for at least 6 weeks.
The Razorbacks were beating NW Alaska Tech by 4 touchdowns in the 4th quarter and then somehow Arkanchoked and lost by 3.
3. Alaskan Snow Shoe
When you step in your own ejaculation, usually aiming to coat the bottom of your foot in it. Then you place said foot in a females face and she licks the ejaculate off the bottom of your foot.
Jeff: I'm going to the University of Alaska
Chris: What is there to do in Alaska?
Jeff: Well, you can snow shoe
Chris: I gave your sister an Alaskan Snow Shoe!
4. Fairbanks, Alaska
Fairbanks is a city in Alaska, pretty far North. Its about 300 miles away from Palmer, Alaska. Fairbanks is a mining town, most of the jobs are outdoor, mining, or retail. While the job market is pretty good during the economic decline, Fairbanks fails at the social aspect. You will find more felons in Fairbanks than any other city in Alaska. Most of the people were either born there and have never left, or were brought in by people that were already there. Many people go to Fairbanks for a period of time to attend UAF, one of the BEST campuses that University of Alaska has to offer. The marijuana is expensive, $50 for an eighth! Don't worry though, if you know where to get it, its good, and unless you have a bad connection, its 3.5 every time.

The major downside to Fairbanks:

There is NOTHING to do for people in their twenties.

Most places have bad water (lots of iron, can't shower in it or drink it).
Most of the people there are set in their ways and spend most of their time drinking away their sorrows.
Unless they aren't FROM Fairbanks, most people are pretty introverted, and it takes them awhile to warm up to new people enough to quit scowling.
It gets really, REALLY cold there. I mean, frostbite in seconds during the winter.

If you're going to visit during the summer and you like hot weather, its a great place to visit. Living there is NOT something one should do unless they have warrants out and feel like hiding.

Go Nanooks!
I hope the Nanooks win this game.
6. Sarah Palin
John McCain's Vice-Presidential candidate for the Republican Party in 2008.

Sarah Louise Heath Palin (born February 11, 1964) is the current Governor of the US state of Alaska and the presumptive Republican vice presidential nominee for the 2008 United States presidential election.

Palin was elected governor and assumed office in December 2006, after defeating incumbent governor Frank Murkowski in the Republican primary and former Democratic governor Tony Knowles in the general election. She was the youngest person, and the first woman, to be elected governor of Alaska. Before becoming governor, Palin served two terms on the Wasilla, Alaska, City Council from 1992 to 1996, and was elected mayor of Wasilla (population just over 5000) twice, in 1996 and 1999. She lost her race for lieutenant governor of Alaska in 2002. Palin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in journalism from the University of Idaho.

On August 29, 2008, Republican presidential candidate John McCain announced he had chosen Palin as his running mate, making her the second female vice presidential candidate representing a major political party after Geraldine Ferraro, and the first female vice presidential candidate of the Republican Party.
