41. United States
The greatest nation in the entire planet. Just because we have not passed laws and amendments promoting and legalizing every single thing, it doesn't mean our government is a fascist dictatorship. So we don't allow gay marriage and dangerous drugs like ecstacy or cocaine. Big deal.
This massive country consisting of 50 states and over 280 million people is divided into several regions, and every single race and ethnic group resides within the United States of America. Every kind of religion and language is found in different parts of this fine country.
The regions include New England and the Mid-Atlantic States in the Northeast; The Deep South, Upper South (Tennessee/southernmost third of Kentucky), and the Lower Mississippi Valley in The South; The Ohio River Valley, Great Lakes States, the Upper Mississippi Valley, and the Northern Plains in The Midwest; The Rio Grande Valley, the Southern Plains, the Rocky Mountains, The Sonoran and Mojave Deserts, Lake Mead, and Los Angeles and San Diego metropolitan areas in southern California, all part of the Southwest; The Rocky Mountains sprawl over roughly six consecutive states, and extends well up into Canada. Finally, the Cascade Mountain Range, Mt. Rainier, Mt. St. Helen's, and the Snake and Wilamette River Valleys make up the Pacific Northwest. The states of Alaska and Hawaii are located very far off the mainland of America. Alaska is adjacent to the western border of Canada and near the Arctic Ocean, while Hawaii is composed of a series of islands surrounded by the waters of the Pacific Ocean.
The United States is one of the greatest and most diverse nations on Earth.

2. United States
The place south of the Canadian border. Has nice people in it, as well as pricks. Powerful government, if sometimes self-serving and misleading.
The United States is okay.

4. United States
A federal constitutional republic comprised of 50 states and a federal district (Washington D.C.). The United States is one of the world's most ethnically diverse and multicultural nations, this is due to widespread immigration from multiple regions around the globe.

Economically, the United States has the largest nominal GDP in the world. Militarily, it has the largest defense budget in the world. Politically, it yields significant influence through partnerships such as NATO (North Atlantic Treaty Organization), and strong ties to individual countries such as the U.K., Japan, Israel, Canada, Australia and South Korea. Culturally, the U.S. continues to yield significant influence through Hollywood and other widely viewed pop culture media.
If it weren't for the United States the European Union would be known as either Nazi Germany or the U.S.S.R.
5. United States
Country with less individuals than there are rulers.
A land of indoctrination in which the people think what the media says they should.
A land in the media think what corporations and religion says.
An area on our planet with megalomaniac power, with too little altruism or tolerance, with inhabitants that need the truth and other values than superficial materialism or consumerism.

America has shined as a beacon of freedom in an unfree world for more than two centuries. To this day, for instance, most people living outside our borders reside in countries where the private practice of broadcast journalism is illegal and where the state is the dominant banker. Americans can say anything they want, worship any god they choose, and associate with any motley crew around. Our legacy is not slave chains, Wounded Knee, and the murder of James Byrd, but American GIs liberating a Nazi death camp, an immigrant's first glance of lady liberty's torch, and Ronald Reagan exhorting the Soviet's to tear down the Berlin Wall. If nothing else, America means freedom.

7. United States
A place where logic means nothing and everyone is either anorexic or overweight.
There's something wrong with society in the United States.
