A term used in most MMORPGs (Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Games) but specifically WoW (World of Warcraft).

It is when you make a new character and give it advanced weapons, armor, or other equipment. This equipment is usually too advanced to achieve otherwise at such an early level. The player might also give his Twink lots of money to buy equipment, instead.

Many people get angry when they see twinks because they are so much better than them, although they are near the same level. However, in WoW, most weapons have a level you need to achieve in order to use it (i.e. level 10) which limits twinking from getting to extreme.

An attractive, boyish-looking, young gay man. The stereotypical twink is 18-22, slender with little or no body hair, often blonde, dresses in club wear even at 10:00 AM, and is not particularly intelligent. A twink is the gay answer to the blonde bimbo cheerleader.

There are two major theories about the origin of this word, both of which probably have elements of truth to them.

a) Twink comes from an acronym T.W.I.N.K. "Teenage, White, Into No Kink."

b) Twink is a shortening of the name for the famous "TWINKIE" snack cake: a tasty, cream-filled snack with no nutritional value. The phallic shape of the "TWINKIE" snack cake should not escape the reader's attention.

A term often used in homosexual circles to describe a man with a smooth, youthful, only slightly-muscular, physique.

In an MMORPG, a veteran player who makes a new character and gives a bunch of top-shelf equipment from their older, maxed-out characters to the new character.

A smooth-bodied, almost pre-pubescent looking young gay male. From "twinkie" (as in Hostess twinkie)- soft and full of cream.

Negative interpretations describing twinks are normal associated with the same type of males that are in the heterosexually community, that describe attractive young in shape women as stupid, sluts, bimbos, air heads, ECT. to help make up for there own insecurities.

Originally the term referred principally to blonds, but among gay people the term increasingly includes other young men whose features are those principally described above, but are not necessarily blond. Although the architypical twink is infact a blond.The origin of the term is unknown but might be an allusion to the Twinkie pastry, which is golden (blond) on the outside with cream on the inside, and is pleasantly sweet but with little nutritional substance.
