Perfect place to grow up. Love this community. A place where you can find beauty anywhere. Where you kid can get a great education at any school and be successful. A place where sports are highly regarded, it is a baseball town, and for good reason. The athletes from Twin Falls are the most hard working and congenial guys that I've ever met.
Unfortunately there's downfalls. It's a place where "hard core" or "punk" fucks think that anyone who does their own thing isn't cool. They hate on anything that is sports. They wine and complain about people who don't know what "real hardcore is" and that the music scene of Twin Falls is dead. They diss on kids who go to U of I or CSI even if those are the only options for them. According to these cool kids, you need to wear a saggy ass beanie, wear tight skinny jeans, never change your flannel shirt, and be from Seattle or SLC and if not, you're a fuck. Luckily, all of these kids will be on missions, or in Salt Lake pursuing "music" soon. So we won't have to deal with them.
It is a great place to move back to and raise a family. Just stay away from Club 360 for you can see the chlamydia radiating around it, and the idiots at Jack in the Box who work on their Rice Burner Cars.
"I can't wait to go back to Twin Falls, it is the nicest community"
1-"Oh you're from Twin Falls?"
1-"Me too, do you like Gravemaker or Comeback Kid?"
2-"Not really my style, I like most everything else though"
1-"You're a fuck and a close minded idiot and have no idea what real hardcore is"
A place where your last name means everything. If you're not from Twin Falls, your parents aren't from Twin Falls, and your Grandparents aren't from Twin Falls, you don't matter.
A place where one can get a degree from the University of Idaho, short returning to Twin Falls to pursue a career in inurance, high school teaching, or knowing somebody.
A place where the local high school's baseball team can engage in immoral actions, only to have their sponsorship dropped, and have it be so well covered up, by more Twin Falls lifers.
A place where one can be caught committing adultery with a co-worker's wife, and still be regarded as professional.
A place where it is perceived that the end of the world is the other side of the Snake River Canyon. Where residents actually believe culture exists. Where males outdo each other by the size of their Ford Trucks. Where the idea of doing things in life outside of Twin Falls, is unheard of.
A place where style does not exist. One can be considered stylish by simply shopping at The Buckle, American Eagle, or Zumiez. Brands like Lucky, Big Star, Affliction, Tapout, and Fox are actually okay to wear.
A great place to live! (If you have never lived anywhere else)
Father:Son, I'll miss you while you're at college.
Son: Look on the bright side dad! My degree from the University of Idaho won't entitle me to jobs anywhere else in the marketplace but Twin Falls, So I'll be back in no time to coach Twin Falls High School baseball! Not to mention, I'm joining your fraternity!
Father: Oh, I guess you're right. Now get on outta here ya little squirt! And go drink your education away just like I did!
One of the shittiest towns in the world. Full of people who say i dont care what other people think of me, but they really only care about what others think of them. Mostly white people and the town is almost small enough that everyone knows everyone. Home to one of the greatest junior colleges in america. CSI. a town where money can buy anything, and if u not rich or hansome u cant play sports no matter how athletic you are. A place where dreams are crushed because someone knows someone else, and a fair chance is never given. Considered a big town, but there is nothing to do but drink and get high. And sadly for a town this size the girls are anything but attractive.
Boy: i hate this town
Girl: well atleast you dont live in Twin Falls
Boy: That's very true, that place is shitty
Girl: I know
the best place on earth to grow a pair of balls. twin falls will kick your ass. just stay away from the local passtime, meth.
amel: dude, we gotta leave twin falls for good
ryan: its too late, theres no hope
amel: there is always hope!
