Also called Tourette's Syndrome or simply TS.
Tourette's is an inherited neurological disorder with onset in childhood, characterised by the presence of multiple physical tics and at least one vocal tic.
Tics are movements or sounds "that occur intermittently and unpredictably out of a background of normal motor activity",(TS Classification Study Group, 1993) having the appearance of "normal behaviors gone wrong." (DeWolfe, 2006)
The word Tourette's can also be used as a prefix to describe an item bought in a shop where one has been served by an individual with Tourette's. This person having had particularly a verbal tic whilst serving you.

Johnny walks around in town pretending to have Tourette's. It's funny to see people's reactions when some random man screams obscenities for no apparent reason. He makes us all laugh.
Are we wearing heels tonight and getting a taxi into town instead of walking? 'Cause I was thinking of wearing my Tourette's shoes.
