The ONLY reason to ever watch FOX.
If it weren't for The Simpsons, I'd just watch ABC.

A show that is now irrelevent and largely unfunny. It was easily one of the best entertainment diversions of the 90s, but it has experienced since then its very own "das profoundis": it didn't know when to quit.

Truly the greatest show ever made. period. the setting is still somewhat in the 1990s,yet they still parody things like the i phone and current events, like the bp oil spill,up coming election, ect. the best thing about this show, is the vast world inside of it. matt groening may have a massive ego, acording to some family guy creators.(look at what hes created!!!). family guy has ran out of ideas, turning stewie from a evil genious baby to a latent homosexual adult in a babys body.they got cancelled twice. homers still the same alcoholic fatass who gets into all kinds of crazy shit and they still get alot of ratings. and FG riped off the simpsons, big time. peter is same as homer-alcoholic,fat,stupid,poor judgement, dad. lois,marge-wife,more calm and collected than husband, the one who talks husband out of stupid shit. bart chris-son,does bad at school.(chris and bart are not the same per se,seth had to dodge copyright laws).Meg Lisa-smart,social outcast. stewie maggie-evil baby, no one notics it. maggie has shot someone just like stewie. only maggie did it like 10 years earlier.
the simpsons is a damn good show.

Matt Groening's gift to the world. Originally the family appeared on the Tracey Ullman Show in 1987, and got their own show on the Fox network two and a half years later. The pilot episode would be "Some Enchanted Evening"; however, the animation was so terrible, they had to abort the series premiere for a while. They would abort the entire series if the second episode, "Bart the Genius", also turned out terrible. However, that was a success, and the first episode was switched to "Simpsons Roasting on an Open Fire", and "Some Enchanted Evening" was switched to the series finale/thirteenth episode, airing in May 1990. "Bart the Genius" was the second episode; however, it was the first episode to use the trademark title sequence (originally it would be "Some Enchanted Evening".) Thus, "The Simpsons" was born!
I watched The Simpsons on Sunday at 7:00 p.m.

A fuckin' classic TV show. Long-running from 80s and still running. Far better than Family Guy and American Dad.
You haven't seen a great animated comedy if you've never seen The Simpsons.
