British newspaper which is traditionally printed in broadsheet, but has now taken to also printing in a tabloid size after realising that no one was really buying and trying to appeal to younger readings.
Changes it's support depending on what it feels. Currently supports the Conservatives but supported Labour in the 2001 and 2005 general elections
Same person who owns The Times also owns The Sun
and generally has the same journalists writing for both but under different names to make it seem as though they are seperate entites.
The Times has a crap readership and relies on The Sun being sold and used for advertising so it can make up for it's losses.

Giving the time to someone means having sexual intercourse with that person.
Salinger uses this phrase quite often in his novel, The Catcher in the Rye.
"I don't think he gave that girl the time that night-but damn near."
A euphemism for sexual intercourse that was popularized by the widely read novel "Catcher in the Rye" by J.D. Salinger. The main character, Holden Caulfield uses the phrase several times throughout the book.
"Hey man, I told her "the time" last night... if you know what i mean."
Not to be mistaken with The time, a band accompanied by Prince
and one of director Kevin Smith's characters Jay and Silent Bob
The Times is used described as how life is going. It can be used to describe your life or how the world is doing.
Come gather round people
Wherever you roam
And admit that the waters
Around you have grown
And accept it that soon
Youll be drenched to the bone.
If your time to you
Is worth savin
Then you better start swimmin
Or youll sink like a stone
For the times they are a-changin
(~ Bob Dylan
, The Times They are a-changing)
Something morons who are too lazy to spend $12 on a watch are always asking for.
Moron: Excuse me, do you have the time?
Smart person with watch: Why, yes, I do. And if you weren't such a dumbass you would too.
The Time, the motherfuckin' best band ever. Cue "Jungle Love". Was the rival band of Prince & the Revolution in Purple Rain.
Think Morris Day and Jerome.
"hallelujah! Everybody do the bird!"
"Don't you never say an unkind word about the Time. Me and Silent Bob modeled our whole fucking lives around Morris Day and Jerome. I'm a smooth pimp who loves the pussy. And Tubby here is my black man servant. What."
At the tone...
Ten minutes after ten till now.
