Also known as the Great American Internet War,it started on June16th 2015 and ended on November 8th,2016(The Election Day).It took place on the Internet,and the battlegrounds were Twitter,Google Plus and Instagram.The two main powers were the Trump supporters and Clinton Supporters.

The Pepe Civil War
Hillary Clinton attacked the "alt-right" and resorted to attacking the most recognizable of memes, Pepe, calling him racist and other derogatory names in an attempt to undermine the impact he was having in the war. An embedded fighter at a Hillary rally called out the name on live televised broadcasts, letting the world know that Pepe and memes would continue to have an impact in the online election battles. In an attempt to cease the flow of frog posting, the Anti-Defamation League officially declared Pepe a "hate symbol" and eventually brought in the creator of Pepe the Frog, Matt Furie (a beta male himself and a Hillary loyalist) who was asked to "Make Pepe Great Again" by making a few anti-Trump drawings featuring his frog and he would be aided in this endeavor by a few other talented artists. However this act was followed by a severe and autistic counterattack from imageboard communities on 4chan and 8chan who released a stream of new and fearsome dank memes to overwhelm Furie's attempts. With Matt Furie and his allies defeated, he lost his precious creation to the internet hate machine.
The war ended with the victory of Trump.

The Great Meme War took place from Juner 16, 2015 - November 9, 2016 and was the internet(primarily social media) battle between supporters of Donald Trump, Hillary Clinton, Bernie Sanders, Gary aka Aleppo Johnson, and Jill Stein. Attacks and battles took the form of arguments and memes in comment sections, threads, photos, videos and more. These memes were used to attack a candidate or sway their supporters. The War also included heavy shitpposting, spam, copypastas, and dank memes. The War's fronts include Reddit, instagram, ifunny, youtube, the news and media, and many others.
The main conflict of the War was between Donald Trump and the Allies, Hillary Clinton and the DNC, and the Republican Party.
Casualties and losses include:
For Trump and the Allies: A lot of time.
For Hillary Clinton and the DNC: The Presidency, a few thousand emails, the states of Ohio, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Florida, Wisconson, a plate full of chicken nuggies

It was a huge battle that took place in 2015-2016. God emperor trump had a mission, to make america great again. In order to succeed, he needed to take down crooked hillary. To his aid, lord and savior pepe the frog came and helped him on this mission. The 9th of November, they finally did it. They had finally defeated crooked hillary.
This battle will go down in the history books as "the great meme war".
