When the thought or ideas behind the text get lost in translation

I texted my friend to come over for a brunch but text went come over for a punch. After several back and forth texts to clarify I could see this was another textmess.

dry texter 

Someone who can't keep a conversation going through text messaging. Texts boring things and phrases such as "K", "Cool", "What's Up", "Nothing Much", and "Hbu". Is awkward, even through the phone.

He was such a dry texter on instagram direct message last night.

potato texter 

A co-worker too lazy to get up and walk 200 feet to deliver a message to you.

Instead they send your phone a text message and expect a confirmation it was received.

Receiver of the text :
As they roll backwards 5 feet into the hall and shout. "Bill, you lazy Potato texter I got the message."

Bill: Sends another message that reads "K".

serial texter 

A person who sends numerous messages, one after the other. Someone who's addicted to texting.

Amanda is always in the back of the class texting people, she's such a serial texter.
