In the video game BioHazard or Resident Evil, the T-Virus, or Tyrant-Virus, was the first and primary mutagen virus developed by the Umbrella Corporation. The virus is protean so it goes from liquid, airborne, to blood transmission. In the commercial and in the beginning for Resident Evil Apocalypse, the virus was origonally a cosmetic called Regenerate which brings dead cells back to life to make you look years younger. The virus does bring dead cells back to life by bringing back the dead but it causes uncontrolable mutation in the living. When the host dies it regerates the body.
