An incorrect term for 'soldering', usually used by idiots, or people with 'labtop' computers.
Soldering is the process of joining metals with by using heat to melt a filler metal. Soldering is often used for making electrical connections in electronics, as well as being used in other metalwork. "I need some more sodder for my soddering iron"
