Snellebrating is the act of visiting the Snelling Dining Commons of The University of Georgia between the hours of 12 a.m to 5 a.m. About 3,000 student head into Snelling between those times every night. Snelling Dining hall is open 24/7 Monday through Thursday.
Students come in at this time to enjoy breakfast foods from eggs to hash browns. Every night at midnight a strange thing occurs. All the food in the dining hall is taken out and replaced with breakfast items. Students are often seen waiting in long lines just to get a taste of breakfast at midnight. The thrill of the dining experience comes from being up late and eating foods that everyone loves. Bacon, sausages, omelets, bagels, cereal are always in stalk. If a University of Georgia student remembers anything about their dining experience, it will surly be the memories they made while Snellibrating.
