'Shafted' is a segment on Are You*th Being Served? a youth engagement radio show that runs in Brisbane, Australia. It came from an arranged interview between the shows hosts and the Beaconsfield Miners and was confirmed only 2 hours prior to said interview. The Beaconsfield Miners became famous in 2006 when stuck down a mine 'shaft' for 2 weeks and hence why the segment is appropriately named 'shafted'. The show now actively seeks interviews with famous people when the ultimately know they will be 'shafted' for that interview. "We tried getting Paris Hilton on the show this week, but she 'shafted' us"
