Creator of animated shows Family Guy, American Dad, and the Cleveland Show, MacFarlane is also the voice actor for many of the male characters on his shows, including but not limited to Peter Griffin, Brian Griffin, Stewie Griffin, Glenn Quagmire, the alien character Roger, and Stan Smith.

Many self professed sophisticated types seem to have a problem with this show because of its frequent toilet humor, sex jokes, racist jokes, AIDS jokes, abortion jokes, gay jokes and just general envelope pushing. Even the creators of South Park, known for exactly the same type of behavior, allegedly have a feud with Mr. MacFarlane, apparently claiming that the cut-away gags in his shows (mostly in Family Guy) are cheap laughs.

What a lot of these people seem to forget is that regardless of personal opinion, Mr. MacFarlane can sing, act, voice act, play various instruments, do a wide variety of impressions, write comedy, direct, produce, animate, and compose music, not to mention exude a mixture of modesty and genuine charm while drinking a 5th of Jack Daniels and holding an intelligent conversation.

In short, Mr. MacFarlane's talent is irrefutable, although his taste in humor is not for everyone.
1st person: I hate Seth MacFarlane, he's stupid, immature and pretentious, somehow all at the same time!

2nd person: When you work your ass off, become a multi-millionaire based solely on your talents, have one of the most recognized voices in modern entertainment, and become ridiculously handsome, then perhaps people will believe that your whining carries weight. Until then, away with you sir.

The very bland, very unfunny, very unoriginal creator of Family Guy that Fox chose to bring back for another season instead of Futurama. (aka the LESS retarded more original and actually FUNNY show.)
*Making an episode of Family Guy*

Seth MacFarlane: Geez, guys. I'm running out of ideas for Family Guy.

Executive Producer: Hmm. Well maybe we can steal a scene from The Simpsons, then change it up a little bit so people will think it's original, like we always do!

Seth MacFarlane: Great idea!

Seth MacFarlane: Oh, and let's just stick another joke about Tom Cruise being gay in there like we did a million times already, even though South Park did it first. Or maybe make another joke about how Meg sucks.

Executive Producer: Hahahaha! That's hilarious! Yeah, okay, they'll think that's funny, too. Because jokes repeated over and over and over again are ALWAYS funny, right?

1.The talentless creator of the tasteless, humorless "comedy" shows Family Guy and American Dad. See: one laugh wonder

2.An overly-self indulgent asshole.
1.Seth MacFarlane has to steal from The Simpsons to make his own comedy shows seem funny.

2.Why does Seth MacFarlane treat his fans like crap? Doesn't he realize his so called "comedy" shows suck?

Untalented cartoonist douchebag creator of Family Guy. Also the other show named American Dad. (Which is basically another Family Guy with slight alterations)

Extremely untalented cartoonist known for milking out the same lame jokes in his cartoons.
Seth MacFarlane is not funny.

1.) Seth MacFarlane is the creator of the animated comedy shows Family Guy and American Dad.

These so called animated "comedies" are so essentially bad, so puerile, so pretentious, so simplistic, so self-indulgent, that it is no wonder that thousands of teenagers worldwide are quick to repeat a line from the show.

Basically, a non-talent hack who has made a living off ripping other animated comedies like The Simpsons and South Park. And then he wonders why nobody likes him. (Dumbfuck.)

2.) The man who, unfortunately, failed to board American Airlines Flight 11 on September 11th, 2001.
I actually was a fan of Seth MacFarlane and Family Guy when I was a teenager. I will admit that episodes from the earlier seasons were actually funny. But now I've grown up and it's hard not to pick up on how pretentious and up his own ass he is.

The creator of animated television shows "Family Guy," "American Dad," and "The Cleveland Show" on the Fox network. While wildly popular among a certain demographic of pothead twentysomethings and slacker teens, Seth MacFarlane relies on sight gags and endless pop culture references from the seventies and eighties to add humor to his programs. He also employs arguable racist jokes to round out his brand of comedy. Young people with not enough good sense and taste, because they were raised by racist parents in boring whitebread suburbs, enjoy MacFarlane's work. People with brains and even a minimum of sophistication easily see through the empty shtick of MacFarlane's stolen jokes, ethnic puns, and retro pop culture obsession.
Who makes those vapid, unfunny shows on Sunday night? The answer: Seth MacFarlane.

A talentless hack that is the creator of Family Guy, The Cleveland Show, and American Dad!. Absolutely shitty shows that just repeat jokes over and over again and are usually of pop culture reference. I cannot understand with all logic and reasoning why people would watch these shows. Seth needs to find a new job. Perhaps flipping burgers would be a change.
Producer: Family Guy is the most popular cartoon on television

Seth MacFarlane: OH BOY! I don't to find another job! As long as people keep watching my shows, I'm set!

Producer: Create more shows!

Seth: How about a spin-off show for Cleveland......The Cleveland Show. And a show about a right-wing CIA agent dad.......American Dad!

The creator of Family Guy, American Dad, and The Cleveland Show.

While the earliest seasons of Family Guy were genuinely funny, the half-baked, arrogant, overly self-indulgent douchebag known as Seth MacFarlane now mostly uses it as a vehicle for his anti-religious opinions (stated as facts) and takes on social issues, which are usually projected through Lois. To make Family Guy more of a cartoon, and less of a rant on right-wing Christians, he sprinkles in bits of Peter's buffoonery, Stewie-is-gay jokes, random swear words, 70's and 80's movie references (which approximately 3 per cent of the show's mostly teenage and twenty-something douchebag audience understands), et cetera. American Dad and The Cleveland Show are not used as frequently for this purpose, and are more or less cheap spin-offs of Family Guy, with their respective characters filling in each family role (Peter = Stan = Cleveland, and so on).
Come on, Seth MacFarlane, that's just pathetic.
