The term used describe a (minimum) six-course meal that must include the following: pre-dinner cocktails, bottle of wine, a selection of at least three appetizers, a bottle of wine, a salad course, a bottle of wine, entrees, a bottle of wine, desserts, a bottle of desert wine/cognac, ending with an espresso or coffee. At the end of each course, it is imperative that one leaves a small portion on the plate while saying "its for the gods." Dude...we're seriously not going to have coffee after dessert? WTF, I thought you were all about doing it up "Scowden style."
