Scene Kids are the new wave hardcore kids. Often mistaken for emo because of people's ignorance. They are actually a happy new trend. They are the other half of the hardore civil war (meatheads vs scene kids) they also listen to screamo, techno, punk rock, indie rock and hip hop. All scene kids style and straighten their hair. Most wear eyeliner (not to be confused with emo eyepaint), girl pants and tight band/splash paint style shirts. It is rare to see a scene kid without converse shoes but, vans or retro shoes are also in their list of clothing accessories. THEY DO NOT CUT THEIR WRISTS... like I said before they are not emo and tend to dislike EMOtionaly unhappy people. In more urban areas scene kids carry hand guns and are more gang like. Most scene kids go to shows regularly and are seen in pits hardcore dancing.
From First to Last is a band scene kids might listen to while Dashboard Confessional is a band emo kids listen to.

Emo Kids
People Who Talk Loudly Just To Hear Their Voice

Well the first definition would be the fake scene kids that ruin the name of real scene kids.
They generally listen to hardcore music and crunk bands and wear band t-shirts they bought at hot topic and colorful skinny jeans.
They also have myspace names like Terrifying Tyler or Cory Chaos or Amazing Amanda, and they cut there hair as if a retarded monkey jerking off did it.

Kids who go to local shows and support there scene they generally wear skinny jeans and band shirts but local band shirts that they bought at shows while talking with there favorite band that no ones ever heard of, these kids are way color then the fake myspace douche bags so don't be tricked and support your scene!
Kyle:You see that fag with the pink highlights and the colorful jeans?

Andy:Yeah he added me last night on myspace.
he thinks hes a "scene kids"

Someone, girl or guy, who likes to dress and listen to certain music like the rest of the scene consists of bandanas, bows, lots of accessories, band t-shirts, tight jeans, leopard print, etc.
Music is usually angst-y, something along the lines of skinny puppies/from first to last.
Pretty much a pathetic excuse of a life, pretend that their non'conformists when they have really been conforming in some way all along.. hmm. makes ya think.
example. scene kids
*scene girl* Omg. Lets all go get t-shirts with bands or old school pokemon/dinosaurs/hello kitty and be rad and have lame-ass names, such as kayla-Rawr, and dye our hair every two weeks because we need to have a different edge all the time, and get piercings and think lower of the so called "conformists", even though we are all dressing the same, and listening to the same music, and acting the same.. hmm.. EXCEPT! We can't say we're scene. Or else we really won't be scene, cause then we won't get any scene points... then we won't have anything to do with our lives. D:

Typical Scene Chick:
-Choppy short hair.
-Usually black however blonde and lots of 'strange' colors are used to make themselves look 'unique.
-Bandana in hair.
-Bows are popular
-Heavy make up, usually around the eyes, sparkles are quite common.
-Fake moles have been spotted.
-Tries to pull of Vintage look
-Usually really hot. But, we haven't seen them with out make up so this is questionable.
-Dates only scene boys.
scene kids or girls are almost or exactly like a Bro hoe..

1. An emo clone in denial. The term was created by emo clones who were embarassed and tired of being called "emo." There is absolutely no difference between emo clones and scene kids except those refering to themselves as "scene kids" tend to be older; emo trendies who are old enough to drive.

I am not emo! Even though I look and act like every other emo clone in the world, I am a scene kid! See my driver's license?
