What republicans should believe - personal responsibility, limited government, free markets, individual liberty, traditional American values and a strong national defense. Believe the role of government should be to provide people the freedom necessary to pursue their own goals.
True there are some republicans who push their christian views on others and who are very hypocritical in doing so not following their own bible. Most of the Christian republicans are just concerned for your souls (ha) and how their christian teachings can positively affect society and this is regardless of whether you are religious or not, treating others with respect and how you would like to be treated and with love AND charity (because you "cant take it with you") is just a common sense way to run a society Some will tell you adoption is free and maybe gays can live “happily” in a state that allows. True some rich folks could give more to “entitlement” programs, but these tend to be very poorly ran throw more money at it to make it work “huge failures”. Both parties should work harder to find better ways to manage the money they freely handout and make sure its actually needed. Smaller government lets business's run more smoothly and create wealth for everyone (if the owner applies some christian morals to his work) Republicans just want whats best for America as do the Democrats, they just both strongly believe the other is going about it the wrong way. Decide for yourself. hey broseph, you aren't voting republican (for republicans) because the media makes all the democratic candidates look so much more appealing even though they hire a cabinet with no real work experience in their fields and lavishly spend hard working Americans dollars and say they're for workers rights but use ridiculous environmental codes and unnecessary benefits to put company's AND all of their employees out of business.

Furthemore, they support war without knowing all the facts, which cost innocent lives in the process. You can recommend this for deletion all you want, but whichever way you look at it, the repubicans are bigots, and homophobes, and war hungry people.

People who usurp their own religious beliefs to defend their policies. Which is a sin.
People who wish to force their religion upon others while stimultaneously not living up to their religion's expectations. Which, according to Jesus, is a sin. People who support war and then use "thou shalt not kill" as a reason against abortions. People who say they are for less government controll over the individual, and then enforce the PATRIOT ACT, the sanctity of marriage amendment, and other civilian intrusions. People who lower taxes for the wealthiest one percent. People who get in to office thanks to the less educated population states. (A proven fact) People who accuse Democrats of being spendthrifts while bankrupting our economy. People who work for their self interests, and the interests of their campaign funders and benifactors, while in office. (Well, Democrats are infamous for that as well.) A party that once was good, but then the southern influence came in. People who accuse Liberals of being whiners while bitching about: Gay People, Public Displays of the Ten Commandments, and Civil Rights. The antithesis of progress see hypocrites Inbred Reactionaries Peter Griffin:

A collection of goose stepping low lifes. These people put the wealthy, special interests, and Republican Christianity first, and the American people - especially the poor and vulnerable - last.
Cut taxes on the rich so they'd have more money. Cut social support for people. Throw money into the security money hole. Fight blood soaked oil wars. Try to privatize and wreck social security. Strip Americans of their basic Constitutional and Human Rights. These are a few things that Republicans have done. What do you call a busload of Republicans going through the gates of a maximum security prison?

At one time, men and women of honor. In more recent times it has turned into a party full of criminals and ethical slimebags. Slowly becoming the next Nazi party due to the efforts of George W. Bush. A party of cowards and low lifes who have little respect for human life, they get all fired up about unborn people, but once the person is born they figure that mom and baby can go F themselves if they need any sort of help. A group who's fall is coming in both 2006 and 2008! George W. Bush, Dick Cheney, Condi Rice, most of Congress, and so on.
