Sitting on a pity pot is the same thing as sitting on a pity potty, but sounds slightly more mature.
Both involve feeling really sorry for oneself. Tom: "He just sits on his pity pot all day long."
Dick: "Yes, and cries crocodile tears too." Harry: "How sad." Tom & Dick: "Don't encourage him!!!" |
