This day, is called Mathias the Great's day. It is believed to be named after a great hero. Some people believe that there is a connection between this day and Leo the Great's day (April the 11th).

Who Mathias the Great was, is not quite known, but some say, that he came with peace and that he was a man of hope. If this man is a myth or not, is unclear, but in Europe, this day used to be a day of celebration.
