A state that just simply is awful. One of the few asshole states who winters can get to single digits and summer to triple digit temperature. the people are mostly rednecks and hillbillys. they brag about how much laaaaaaaaaaaaaaaannnnndddddddd theey have and yes they say and spell it like that.If u go there everyone has too buttfuck UNC basketball since they cant get into a Private college like Duke. Horrible education and schools. Illegal drugs and alcohol are a daily part of life. Unfortunantly i was born in this state and until Im 18 i am stuck here. At least its not Alabama is the only bright spot of this state

A Great state and not a place of just backwoods rednecks. Summers are warm, winters are cool. We can't drive in snow/ice like you northerners, so don't pick on us. Mountains on the west, beaches on the east, and everywhere between is beautiful. Big cities, but filled with nice southern folk who will talk your head off if you let them.

A place where ACC basketball is life. Everyone has a team they love UNC or hate Duke.

When passing through Raleigh, stop at Char Grill and grab a Cheerwine.

the coolest state in the country. may not be california, but it is definitely my home sweet home. got the mountains on the west, got the beach on the east, and everything in between. what could be better?

home to awesome basketball teams. dont hate on the south and east coast, cuz you know we rock. we may be part of the south, but we have diversity everywhere. can't forget the first flight. sure, we have a countryside, but then we have the urban city side! see? north carolina is all-around AWESOME.

Hometown of Krispy Kreme doughnuts, among many other things (like ACC basketball!). The majority of the state is pretty diverse, although many of the good ol' boy types still think they're in charge. The state is welcoming to almost everyone, but there is still a lot of intolerance.

Preppy is the general style. Live here and own at least 12 Polo and Lacoste shirts. Or be shunned from society. Your choice.
