Basketball-team owner: We don't like our team's arena. We're moving immediately unless you build a new one.
City: OK, even though you owe us money for that old arena - which is perfectly usable -- we've spent thousands of dollars to rush out a a plan to build you a new one, and we'll pay for it with money that would otherwise go to pay for emergency services.
NBA: And we'll lend you most of the upfront costs.
Owner: Oh. I don't know if that's good enough, even though we shook hands on the deal. We'll get back to you.
City and NBA: What a maloof!

Moofin
A moofin is someone who is a kind and caring person. Even though they may try to come off tough, they are actually adorable and soft deep down. Moofins are funny and often a little clumsy. They are very smart and you will never get bored of their endless facts. If you find a moofin keep them because each person only gets one moofin in their lifetime.

Verb. Making plans with one person, a group of people or city to have future endeavors, all the while having the intent to never follow through with said plans. Named after the gayboy Maloof brothers who jewed the City of Sacramento and Kings Fans.
