A lurker bee is an office worker who roams the hallways to peer into meeting rooms or randomly joins conference calls to be nosy. The opposite of a worker bee. Instead of providing value to the organization they spend their time being nosy about what everyone else is doing.
We had a random lurker bee join our meeting who did nothing but surf the internet and distract the other members. |
