Writer, director, actor. Created Clerks, Mallrats, Chasing Amy, Dogma, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, Jersey Girl and a Clerks cartoon that only aired two episodes. Has appeared in Vulgar, Daredevil, one of the Scream movies, and the TV shows Yes, Dear and Degrassi. Currently working on Passion of the Clerks, Clerks the Cartoon and probably another comic book movie.
Damn! Kevin Smith has awesome movies!
A rotund, insufferably smug oxygen thief inexplicably granted an endless supply of cash to write / produce / direct / 'act' in an agonising series of self-gratifying filmic shit.
'Clerks' was passable at the time of its making, but he wanked it dry, and the whole setup is no longer either believable or funny.
It doesn't help that he can't write - his supposedly quirky 'observational' stuff is painfully contrived - and that none of the otherwise unknown cronies that populate his lead roles film after film can act.
Still, while he, Michael Bay et al continue to find work there's hope for the least of us.
I never thought my screenplay 'Lindsay Dawn And Deng Xiaoping In The Quest For The Cunt Of Mohammed' would sell until I saw Kevin Smith's 'Clerks 2'.
a stalker who you will probably find in the background of all of your pictures.
my god.... theres a kevin smith outside my window!
A director/producer/writer/actor who plays Silent Bob in all his films. All his films are usually hilarious and also always contain Jay and Silent Bob. He loves comics and even owns a comic book shop called Jay and Silent Bob's Secret Stash located in New Jeresy. Is married and to further prove his love for comics he has a daughter named Harley Quinn (care to take a guess where he got that name?). He also loves hockey (indicated in his films) and is proud to be from New Jeresy. He has written a few plots for comics and was a writer for the doomed project Superman Lives until he quit. Overall awesome guy.
Huttah I got to go to the mall where Mallrats was shot at (Eden Prarie Center). What now?
A brilliant director, actor, and writer. He plays Silent Bob
Clerks, Mallrats, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back.
Kick ass filmmaker... Made hilarious films such as Mallrats and Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back. An Evening Qith Kevin Smith is hilarious; he's an excellent speaker.
Kevin Smith was on Degrassi with Mewes. It was cool. He is the shit. And Smooch my Booty, you confuse me.
He's one of the best writer/director/producers in recent history with Scott Mosier. These two have pumped out several great movies. This is a very simple premise. Kevin Smith makes good movies. He is creative, he writes snappy dialog, and he is funny. From Clerks to Mallrats, from Chasing Amy to Dogma and back again to Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back --- his movies are very solid. He's also known as Silent Bob.
Kevin Smith wrote and directed Clerks, Mallrats, Chasing Amy, Dogma, and Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back.
