John Lennon is obviously better-looking than Paul. I mean Paul was and still is cute, don't get me wrong, but dayum, John is just so sexy!

The most amazing and talented man ever. Super hot and a member of The Beatles in 1963- 1970. They broke up because of his stupid second wife. He started and failed art college. If you don't know who John Lennon is, you have serious problems because you looked him up. He is not God, nor is he anything close. He was talented, amazing, hot and funny. Despite what a previous definition stated, he was not mean but slightly tempermental. He had two sons and two wives. His sons were John Charels Jullian Lennon and Shawn Lennon. His first wife was Cynthia Lennon and his second was the demon woman, Yoko Ono. He was shot and killed in front of the Dakoda building in New York. He was shot twice in the back, twice in the shoulder and one bullet missed.
John Lennon was amazing and if you don't agree, you suck with great intencity.

The majority who say that he was God or anything like that is a fucking idiot, which I guess makes most of the authors on this subject such people. Such people have probably gone off to their friends to talk about how much "ganja" they (don't actually) smoke everyday.

Great person and musician, but no more than a human being. I'd say RIP and all that shit, but we've got enough of this BS memorial crap by people who think they should've spoken at his funeral. Say what you want, he was a rich bastard. A very talented, spiritual, and memorable artist, but a rich bastard none the less.

No, don't cry over the atrocities perpetuated by your "government" every single day. Cry over a dead pop-star while the things he wanted to see changed in this world continue to be neglected.

Don't even joke about him being God if you're just exaggerating, you sound like a scene kid. Or maybe that's what you're going for? Half the people who wrote these defs probably weren't even alive when he was assassinated, and they probably think they're huge fans because they listened to Abbey Road and play "Beatles Wannabe-Retro Cash-In" - I mean, Rockband.

Mark Chapman may have been a psycho but he was right about one thing, and that's about people holding up celebrities to positions they don't deserve, and acting all sappy after the celebrity dies. If people did it for Michael Jackson when he died after all the garbage they slung at him, I don't believe one word of their so-called "respects".
I'm an atheist, by the way. Maybe that will further persuade you to give this a thumbs down. :)

John Lennon wasn't God.

An English musician who was a founding member of The Beatles. One of the greatest songwriters and musicians of all time, he collaborated with Paul McCartney to form the most successful songwriting duo of all time. Also the rhythm guitarist of the band, some of his greatest Beatles songs where he sang lead vocal include "A Day In the Life", "Nowhere Man", "I Am the Walrus", "Come Together", "Strawberry Fields Forever", "All You Need Is Love", "I'm a Loser, and "A Hard Day's Night".

He went on to have a very successful solo career after the Beatles disbanded in 1970. He wrote ionic songs such as "Imagine" and his best albums included Imagine and Plastic Ono Band.

In 1975, his son Sean Lennon was born, and John took a five year break from music to spend time with him. In 1980, he made a comeback with the album "Double Fantasy".

Tragically, a few weeks later, he was murdered by some bastard outside his house in New York City. Just as he and Yoko were returning home, he was shot at the entrance of his home and died when he arrived at the hospital.

We lost a legend who gave so much to the world. Music of course, but also he gave us a sense of peace, love and happiness. A man who was flawed, just like all of us.....but yet was a person everyone loved and was inspired by. We also never got a chance to see the Beatles reunite.

RIP John Lennon: 1940-1980.
Imagine all the people

Living life in peace
