look up any word, like muddin:
An extremely annoying cult that brainwashes little children into not excepting blood transfusions to save their life. If you are baptized and want to leave, they will "disfellowship" you and the consequences are that your family and friends who are JW's are not allowed to associate with you anymore.

They are a bunch of hypocritical fanatic bible thumpers who criticise all non-JW's, but just sit around in their Kingdom Halls and talk about how good they are and how bad everything in the world is. They just sit there and discuss the same fucking thing during every meeting.

The are a complete waste and drain on society and the economy. They do not contribute positive in anyway. They are just sitting around waiting for the world to end, which when it does all JW's will get into the new system and all non-JW's will be killed by god!
Husband: How was your day, dear?
Wife: Oh, two Jehovah's Witnesses knocked on the door at 7am this morning and I immediately told them I was disfellowedshipped. The two young men screamed like girls and ran back to their car.
Husband: Where's dinner?

The simple definition is as the name says Jehovah's Witnesses, or witnesses of Jehovah. In the texts of scriptures and writings from Moses to John, the word YHWH appears over 6700 times. No matter what language you use, whether you translate or transliterate, YHWH's name means "He who causes to become" and it directly points to His real name, which is the same in all languages.
Jehovah"He who causes to become", has caused to become the earth, all life on earth and even a way for all our sins to be washed away through the sacrifice of his Son, Jesus Christ.
And what do we as humans need to do? Practice the teachings set out for us in the Bible! All countries worldwide today have laws regarding murder, rape, theft. WORLDWIDE, we as humans believe these things to be wrong. If humans are "created in God's image" would we not also have the same ideas genetically coded into us? We , as humans, also know that the current world society has declined since ancient times. We have not rooted out hunger. We have not prevented wars. We have not eliminated disease.
As humans, we strive to do our own thing, find our own way.
Is it possible for a race, who were caused to become, to find their own way?
Our history speaks volumes!

Jehovah's Witnesses go door to door because they believe in their hearts and minds that humanity can be saved because Jehovah wants all his children, who he "caused to become", to live and not to die through ignorance and pride.

Wouldn't you yell at the top of your lungs if you knew that your friends and family were about to be engulfed in a horrific and terrible natural disaster?

How do you respond?

jehovahs witnesses- beliefs-jesus came to earth to offer his life up as a ransom sacrifice to free us from sin and death.at armagedon all the wicked will be destroyed. on judgement day(1000 years) there will be a resurection of righteous and unrighteous, the earth will be broughtback to a paradise like state, humans will grow to perfection and live forever, and only 144000 will go to heaven and rule with jesus. Basically they live their lives by the bible and try to do everything by bible standards- they dont smoke swear get drunk etc simply because the bible says not to. they go witnessing door to door because jesus said it would have to be done just as he did, and because of thee preaching work they would be persecuted.they want to let people know about the end of this system of things and gods kingdom because they are compelled by love.

i am one of jehovahs witnesses im a teen but i know its the truth, not just because my parents believe and have told me it is-but because i can see it myself. all you have to do is read the bible-put 2 and 2 together- and see that they are doing everything the bible says(well except the stuff that doesnt apply because it was only for the israelites to do etc) its a shame they are hated because they are lovely people, but hey, jesus said it would happen-cause it happened to him-and he was gods son!
Person 1-yeah,im studying with jehovahs witnesses.
Person 2-cool.

A mispronunciation/misspelling of "Jehovah's Witnesses". Sometimes used as a slur. Jehovah's Witnesses follow the teachings of Christ and obey his command to "preach the good news of his kingdom" (Matthew 28:19,20). In doing so, they are fulfilling the prophecy of Matthew 24:14, before God's kingdom replaces human rulership of the earth. They are often libeled because their message is not popular in Christendom and they are often misrepresented, just as Jesus was. However, accurate information IS available at watchtower.org for those who wish to know the truth.
Jehovah's Witnesses take their name from Isaiah 43:10 - “YOU are my witnesses,” is the utterance of Jehovah, “even my servant whom I have chosen, in order that YOU may know and have faith in me, and that YOU may understand that I am the same One. Before me there was no God formed, and after me there continued to be none."

Jehovah's Witnesses are just normal people. I am writing because I am tired of people complaining about them coming to their doors at like 6 or 7 am, saying that they are a cult, that they want their children to die and so on... As one of Jehovah's Witnesses, I can say from experience that all of this is NOT true. Our beliefs and outlooks on life, comes from the Bible. If you are reading this to get an understanding of Jehovah's Witnesses, PLEASE do NOT believe everything people say out there. If you want the truth about the religion, visit the website listed below or contact your local Kingdom Hall. Thanks!
The official Jehovah's Witnesses website is: www.watchtower.org

A Christian religion that do not waver from the teachings of the bible. They do not allow homosexual priests to teach their children they do not allow celebrations of pagan festivities. They are the only religion that use gods name and do not disrespect him by calling him lord.He has a name.

A F****D-up "religion" in which annoying people knock on your door and talk about their cult. DO NOT SUBMIT TO THEM. Their "religion" disposes of all holidays because they are "satanic" and blames other religions for faults in the world. They believe that they are the true Christians and that everyone else is crazy. (Yeah Right). They also believe that innocent little children going to Sunday School are working for the devil.
Jehovah's Witnesses are MORONS and are to STUPID realize that it is THEM who are working for the devil.

Let me first say I am a Jehovah's Witness so what I am going to say is what we actaully believe in.

Jehovah is the name of God and we are His witnesses to carry on His word through the Bible.

We do not believe in the Trinity, Jehovah is God and Jesus is His son.

We believe blood transfusions are wrong and this is because in the Bible it says not to use the blood of others (or at least in that similiar sense)

We are NOT a cult if we get money it is from members of the Kingdom Hall we don't just knock on your door and say Hey can we have your money.

We come to your door because we want everyone to have knowledge of Jehovah (and when we come to your door we show respect and it would be nice to get it in return)
We don't celebrate the holidays because they are considered pagen so we do not particpate.

We follow the Bible it points us in the right direction and gives us faith and allows us to gain knowledge of Jehovah and His son Jesus.

We also believe that once you die you are cleared of your sins and you can live in paradise but if you try to go back to sinful ways you will be gone.

We believe there is not a Hell where you burn for eternity because of a life of wrong-doing and everyone does not go to Heaven only the chosen few, when you die the dead are unconcious of everything but you will be awaken by Jesus to live in the world of paradise.

I might not be right about every aspect but this is what I have learned through my father and I am only 16 so I have time to correct myself. I just wanted to do this because so many have a wrong impression of the people who are the same religion as me, and I wanted to give them correct information.
Jehovah's Witnesses are like normal people and just try to spread knowledge so everyone has the same oppurtunity.
