To have a day off from school or work be cause of a Hurricane. Like a snow day only for Hurricanes. We had to many Hurricane days this year and now we have to add more days to the end of the school year!

a wonderful day of getting off of school for many kids since they can't get a snow day (although some places do get both). oh, how great an occasion it was to learn that we were possibly getting a hurricane day...
