Hawks are the name of random, but loosely organized players of the Storm8 game "World War." Often mistaken as a "clan," hawks lack the characteristics of a clan. Once a hawk has identified you as a target (which is termed a "victim") multiple hawks will often flock in, and essentially cripple the victim in the game. True hawks have organic accounts (meaning they haven't cheated to build their strong accounts) and look down upon any form of cheating (including "glitching", as well as the use of ATM's). Those players suspected of any form of cheating become instant victims and often end up resetting their accounts as hawks are relentless when dealing with victims. To date, there has never been any true hawk surrender to another player or clan, however, there have been hundreds, if not thousands, of players and clans who have surrendered to hawks. The only acceptable way to surrender is by posting the lyrics to the song "I'm a Little Teapot" on an attacking hawk's wall in the game. The original hawks have been around since World War started under watchful eye of black hawk. True hawks know the history of black hawk and who black hawk is, though many new players posing as hawks (known as "Fawks") are clueless as to the origins of hawks. Some of the more infamous hawks that are considered extremely dangerous in the game include Anarchy, Cherokee, Green, Burgundy, Platinum, Cut Throat, Kissy, Thunder, WidowMaker, Grey, Ghost, Swamp, Aloha and Dragster hawks.
