To be stranded by a bus carrier, especially by the line from which the term derives its name. The company in question is known for altogether skipping stops on its appropriated routes, resulting in major hassles and headaches for weary travelers. I was Greyhounded last Thursday at Union Station when I waited for three hours and my bus never showed up!
