A product (usually computer-related) that is so stable and usable that running it in real time production environments is not only possible but recommended even though the product is marked beta. Comes from Gmail being in beta forever but still being awesome. Man, Windows 7 is such a Google Beta! I run it on my main machine and haven't had any problems.
Universities have outsourced their email to Gmail because it is so awesome; it's a Google Beta!
