The long spanning game series, consisting of GTA, GTA 2, GTA 3, GTA Vice City and GTA San Andreas. The first two (ant GTA London) are in top-down perspective nad the last three are 3D. Because in 2D you can't show anything very...bad..., they didn't get much attention from all sorts of crappy citizens, like soccer moms and lawyers nad other life-to-shit makers. The last three oparts, however, got much agression from before mentioned elemnts of society. It was blamed for porn, rise in crime and stuff. all this bikering and blabering only made a good advertising chamopaign. The game itself evolves in doing jobs for local criminals while using cars and guns in progress. while not on a mission, lot of people like to make fun by stealing cars (hence, Grand Theft Auto) and doing funny stuff with it. IMHO, can attract delusional kids to crime. Soccer moms are a constant object of jokes in the radio of GTAs, just listen to WCTR (San Andreas) and VCPR(Vice city).
Vice city is also regarded as the best part of the series, despite the cool stuf in SA. I myself agree to the fact that VC plot is more interesting. |

1) Grand theft auto, an awesome game that’s now being rated AO because of jack Thompson (lawyer/ambulance chaser) who thinks all games with the slightest bit of wrong content should be outlawed. Grand Theft Auto is mostly based around car theft and doing dirty work for others while looking out for yourself. it’s the one game that awed everyone on its release of GTA 3 which left a mark in gaming history.

2. Grand Theft Auto. An extrememly popular and controversial video game series in which you take on the role of a character (character differs through-out the different games) and act out crimes whilst completing missions. The latest installment in the series, GTA San Andreas, is probably the best by far to most with many more things to do such as get girlfriends, burgle houses and a load of over crazy stuff. Also a great game if you like massacring people. 1. James was sent to jail for GTA.

GTA (Grand Theft Auto) is a fun series of games that formed several years ago with the original, followed shortly thereafter by GTA2. The series gained lots of popularity (and controversy regarding violent video games) when GTA3 was released. This controversy arose again when Vice City and (later)San Andreas were released for PS2.
The PC versions of each of these games were/are being released about 6-7 months after their PS2 counterparts because of Rockstar's exclusivity deal with Sony; San Andreas for PC and Xbox will be released on June 7. Despite the fact that many people see no educational value in these types of games, Vice City introduced me to the world of modding. That is the most significant advantage PC gaming has over console gaming.
Game modding in general lengthens the lifespan of a game; this can be seen simply by going to www.gtaforums.com and looking at all the modding developments for Vice City PC despite the fact that it has been over two years since the game was released. |
