Refers to huge vehicles like SUV's gas usage that actually use up more than 1 gallon of gas for every mile. This is the opposite of Miles Per Gallon. With todays gas prices above 4 dollars per gallon if you still have a vehicle thats fuel usage is calculated in GPM you are literally getting raped at the gas pump. I currently own a Hummer Preparation H-3. I get a good 3 GPM, that means I can go 1 mile and use up 3 gallons of gas. In other words I get literally and metaphorically raped at every gas station.
