A ship made from your friends. Although it would be much more satisfying if it were made from your enemies.
The following example takes place on a deserted island and is the original script for the hit-show Lost (except it was changed because this version would have lasted less than half an episode, even though its legendarily epicness is double the epicness of the entire series...this has something to do with science and concentration and dilution but that's too complicated to explain):
Jack: Okay lets use Hurley's gargantuan, fat ass, king size bed body as the main component of our raft.
Kate: Great idea! Plus his ginormous breasts can double as pillows!
Jack: And we can use Sun's skinny ass eggroll body as the mast.
Kate: Ooh ooh can we skin Michael and use him as our sail?pretty please? Me so racist!
Jack: His blackness will never be seen at night by rescuers. Lets use that pregnant white girl Claire instead. Also,I should keep Shannon's body as a makeshift blowup doll in case you "accidentally" fall in the water when the sharks come out.
Kate: Then I'll bring Vincent in case I get inter-species-curious
Jack: Eeeewiee!! Your definitely "accidentally" falling into the water!
Kate: So what are we gonna use to tie all this together anyways?
Jack: We're gonna use everyone else's small intestines as ropes duh!!! Haven't you ever made a friendship before? *whispers*stupid bitch* Lets use John’s useless legs as oars.
Kate: Yeah! Lets do this!
*2 minutes after sailing off the Hurley raft hit an iceberg and they all died happily ever after. The End*
*Based on a completely real fictional story(which will soon be adapted into 37 feature length films and the last two films will be a part 1 part 2 thing because lately the people who make films have realized that movie goers are dumb enough to pay for something that could have easily been squeezed into just one film)*
Something that is much underrated in our society. Friendship is actually a form of love (here I'm not talking exclusively about erotic love). It's not a lesser form of love than erotic love, only a different form of love. In fact, the ancient Greeks had a word, "phileos", more or less equating to fraternal/brotherly love (friendship). Friendship seems to have no observable biological necessity(unlike parental love, necessary for humans to grow, and erotic love, necessary for humans to reproduce), and not much of a marketable appeal (as opposed to the millions/billions of dollars worth of things sold to people trying to better their marriages or parenting skills), yet without such a form of love as friendship our societies would be unbearably dull and alienated from one another. One can love their friends as well as their "significant other", just not in the same way (the difference here is quality, not necessarily quantity).
Friendships are not monogamous by necessity. Two people in a friendship don't need to exclude other people from their relationship. A friendship can best be thought of as two people side by side looking forward toward a common goal. It's an odd form of love in which people develop a relationship without relationship as a goal. Scientific achievements have come out of tight-knit friendships (Watson and Crick), as have works of literary genius (J.R.R. Tolkien and C.S. Lewis), as well as victories in wars (due to the tight camaraderie and mutual trust of soldiers).
True friendship is not when you go to school and hang around with someone just because you have no one else to chill with. Its not calling someone up when your bored because they are fun to talk to. Its not when you cant think of a birthday gift and end up buying your friend a wal-mart gift card. Is not when you have to talk to someone about something you don't particularly care about (like how much snow we got last year) to avoid an awkward silence.
Friendship is when you love someone with every ounce of your being and genuinely want them to be happy even if it means sacrificing something your self to make them happy. A true friend is someone you can talk to about your feelings, someone you can tell things you could never tell your family or even your partner. They are someone who you don't have to talk to but someone you want to talk to; someone you will go out of your way to be with. Friendship is when you love someone so much you want to hold them and never let go, someone you want to rest your head on and cry, and you would let them cry on you too. Its someone you can talk to about things you disagree on and end up being closer for that disagreement. Its when you think about someone and how close you are to them and how much you love them and you smile and are happy all over.
Friendship is when your love for someone exceeds your need for them. (the Dali Lama said that)!
Bill and Lisa are real friends. They are physically opposites, have completely different tastes and interests and see each other very infrequently. But they both know the other will be there for them no matter what, and that is friendship.
My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic

"A friend is one who walks in when others walk out" - a friendship quote
Two pals munching on a well-cooked face together.
Paul: What? Why?
Carl: Because we're friends. And friendship is two pals munching on a well-cooked face together.
Paul: That isn't friendship, Carl. That's sick.

A method of castrating men without using sharp objects.
From David DeAngelo's article:
She looked at him with compassion in her eyes
and said "Thank you... I really mean that... but
I don't want to mess up our friendship... you're
too important to me...".
1.Friendship is like a relationship. Its just with a true friend instead of a companion.
2.It is also something that you should have with your companion.
Your friendship with your true friend is different form the one you share with your companion.
